I am honestly amazed when I talk to people about things we get from Trader Joe’s and they say they haven’t been there, or don’t go there very often! It’s one of my favorite places to shop! Our routine for food shopping is typically every other week we go to TJ’s (our store is in Shoreview) and then every other week we go to Costco. Throw in a once a month trip to Aldi and that is where we get most of our food and beverages from!

I thought it would be fun to share our favorite products with you and we usually start in the wine shop of Trader Joe’s. The wines pictures in the slideshow below are some of our favorites, and as you’ll see, you don’t have to spend a bunch of money to get a good bottle of wine! Let’s go shopping!
One of the great things about TJ’s is they have their own private label wines and you can find some really great deals there! One tip, the price signs have the origin of the wine printed on the side of the tag! 
This wine is almost identical to the next wine in the slideshow but is SO much cheaper! Try both and tell me what you think! 
Another great thing about shopping at TJ’s is that you can break open a pack of beer/soda etc. and just buy one can if you want!
Once inside the store, a very popular area at TJ’s is their flower department! Prices are very reasonable and you can get a variety of sizes and seasonal flowers, along with plants and even herb plants most of the year!
The produce department is the first food section you’ll enter at most stores and they have a really great variety of fruits & vegetables to choose from! Many are organic and there are even some items you won’t find at other grocery stores. We love to buy the Fennel packs from here, especially during the colder months when we are going to make our favorite Potato-Fennel Gratin dish!
Next up is the cheese and dairy sections…you’ll find great selections of cheese at TJ’s and a recent favorite find is their Black Truffle Monterey Jack cheese slices. Pair that in a Panini with their Rosemary Ham and/or Mortadella and you have got yourself a delicious sandwich!
TJ’s has some great beverage options, but you won’t find the usual soda brands you might be looking for here. My family loves the Carrot juice, available in a small one-person size or larger for the family. (I am not a carrot person, so I prefer the Tangerine juice, but usually only if we are having Mimosa’s for Brunch!)
The frozen section is what dreams are made of, for nights you that don’t want to deal with making dinner. So many great options and this Gnocchi has been a must buy for us this year, when we want something quick and hearty for dinner. We also love the selection of Indian food meals, the frozen vegetable varieties (my husband loves the frozen Shiitake Mushrooms) and the garlic & ginger cubes!
The meat selection at TJ’s is nice, but we usually don’t get much in that section other than the Smoked Salmon and charcuterie options you see in the slideshow. On our last visit, our store had coolers go down the night before so they were out of the Rosemary Ham and Mortadella I spoke of earlier. And when we are doing a carpet picnic night, we always pick up that Truffle Mousse Pate. And I love me a little cup of Hummus for a quick snack or lunch addition…this one is so creamy!
The next aisle is usually one we spend a good amount of time in, as they have many Pantry staples that we love! The pickled Jalapenos are the only kind I put in my White Cheddar-Jalapeno Sourdough bread! They have a great selection of pasta (don’t sleep on the Lemon Torchietti pasta if you see it) and other grains, lots of Indian food packets (another quick & easy dinner idea!) and canned goodies. (also don’t sleep on the Giant Baked Beans in Tomato sauce…it’s not your usual “baked beans” and is a great addition to a pasta dish or on pork!) The salsas aren’t technically in this aisle but they have a great selection of those as well.
The last food items you see are our miscellaneous things we grab…The Baby Bananas are actually in the nuts & dried fruits section over by produce…the chocolate bars are at the checkout lanes…we always have an Olive Fougasse (in the bread section) in our freezer at home…the chips & snackie items (last row) are always fun to look at and the coffee selection (across from the toiletry aisle) is great at TJ’s where you can even grind your own beans.
We do have a few toiletry items we buy from Trader Joe’s and that is pictured above. The have lots of other fun products, that evolve with the seasons and many are “dupes” of other expensive products you see on the market.
You will usually find a fun assortment of seasonal products on the end caps in the store. It’s everything Pumpkin and Maple right now and I am still mad that I didn’t grab a couple of things from that section!
And lastly, I get myself hyped up (and add to my list for next time) by following a few people on Instagram that mostly talk about and use products from Trader Joe’s.
